A bundle of new protocols and technical bulletins will be introduced by Euro NCAP in 2022. There are new test cases, enlarged pedestrian head impact areas, an extra point for ESS functions and modified point distributions in adult occupant protection, VRU protection and safety assist.

The 2030 Roadmap shows further action towards scenario based assessment, robust ADAS functionalities and virtual testing.
