willingerseminar201810The day before the Human Modeling Symposium, we organize the seminar on the model-based head injury criteria at the conference hotel Eurostars in Berlin. The speaker is Prof. Remy Willinger, a recognized expert in the field and developer of the Strasbourg University Finite Element Head Model SUFEHM. By using SUFEHM, translational and rotational accelerations of the head can be taken into account when determining the head injury mechanisms. As a result, head injuries can be determined more accurately and also for new load cases that are related to the new seating positions that are possible with autonomous driving.
