Human Modeling and Simulation in Automotive Engineering

The application of numerical simulation with digital human models offers exciting new opportunities in automotive engineering. The use of human models in the areas of safety, comfort, and ergonomics can overcome the limitations imposed by the use of real humans or their mechanical surrogates, thus enabling further optimization of automotive designs.
