Online survey on driving simulators - TU Berlin, asc (s and VDC create competence chart

 | The Technical University Berlin TUB, the Automotive Simulation Center Stuttgart asc(s and the Virtual Dimension Center Fellbach VDC want to identify status and trends of driving simulators through a survey. Increasing demands on product performance and growing cost pressures require transferring large tests series into the virtual world. Driving simulators offer a solution, but because of the growing complexity of these systems and heterogeneous hard- and software environments, this potential can often not be utilized. To enable an improved access for science and industry, the project partners want to create a competence chart for driving simulators. In this they are supported by the automotive OEMs represented in the networks of asc(s and VDC. Interested parties can participate in the online survery (in German). The results will be published in spring of 2015 at a conference in Stuttgart.
