Successful automotive CAE Grand Challenge 2015

 | On 31 March and 1 April, carsh.training hosted in Hanau the 7th automotive CAE Grand Challenge. The large expert audience received information from speakers from industry, research, software and hardware development about their work to overcome the current challenges of automotive CAE. The 7 Grand Challenges selected for this year's conference ranged from airbag simulation, material models for acoustics, light metals and deep drawing to failure of joints in crash and the influence of manufacturing history on fatigue strength to high performance computing. In the accompanying exhibition, participants could talk with leading providers of CAE hardware and software. Impressions of the automotive CAE Grand Challenge 2015 can be found in the gallery.
