By using the AutoForm-ProcessDesignerforCATIA software, which standardizes the method planning within the CATIA environment, the daily work becomes even more efficient. AutoForm-ProcessDesignerforCATIA was developed in cooperation with Volkswagen. The primary objective of the project was to develop advanced software for method planning. It is intended to enable users to quickly and easily create CAD-quality tool surfaces that are necessary for NC machining. The result of the joint project, AutoForm-ProcessDesignerforCATIA, is a successful example of how the respective technology leaders can successfully collaborate in their business areas and create an innovative product.
