 | Under the theme "Making Failure Predictable" the Cluster "Vehicle Structures" of the ASC(S (Automotive Simulation Center Stuttgart e.V.) organizes a workshop at the Grand Challenge 2015. The ASC(S is involved in all areas of virtual vehicle development, thus creating competitive advantages for its members. The organization of workshops is an important element of cooperation for the members. In the workshops, current challenges are discussed and future collaborations are agreed. In the cluster Vehicle Structures members discuss how the challenges of automotive lightweight design can be tackled by CAE and HPC methods. In the workshop possibilities for cooperation and financing are explained. Workshop participants are invited to present their own project ideas. Organizations interested in the use of CAE and HPC in lightweight design are invited to participate in the workshop. The workshop can be attended independently of participation to the conference.
