Uwe Burckhardt Head of DEKRA Lausitzring DEKRA Automobil GmbH VitaAfter studying computer science and business administration, Mr Burckhardt was the owner of an engineering office for software development and automation of industrial applications. Since 1998 he has held various positions at the DEKRA Technology Center. In 2009, Mr Burckhardt took over responsibility for the development of the DEKRA test site and its services. With DEKRA's takeover of the Lausitzring in 2018, Mr Burckhardt is now responsible for the "DEKRA Lausitzring" test site for automated and connected driving. One of his main tasks is the automation and digitisation of the proving ground. The aim is to be able to reproduce the safeguarding of complex, highly automated driving functions reproducibly and efficiently on the test site. |

Kai Golowko Manager Active & Passive Safety Testing Bertrandt Ingenieurbüro GmbH VitaKai Golowko has been working in the area of vehicle safety since 1999. He started his career as a test engineer for passive safety at ACTS. Since 2003 he has been working as senior engineer for occupant safety and pedestrian protection. Since 2005 he has managed the department vehicle safety at Bertrandt in Gaimersheim. He has also been responsible for active and passive vehicle safety for the Bertrandt Group since 2017. |
Rainer Hoffmann Managing Director carhs.training gmbh VitaRainer Hoffmann has been involved in automotive safety throughout his career. After graduating from Wayne State University, he joined Porsche as a research associate in passive safety. Mr. Hoffmann advanced safety simulation during his subsequent tenure at ESI Group where he introduced new techniques like airbag simulation, numerical airbag folding and FE dummy modeling. As the head of the simulation department of PARS (now Continental Safety Engineering), Mr. Hoffmann led the R&D efforts for some of the first series production side airbag developments. In 1994 Mr. Hoffmann founded EASi Engineering GmbH, which in 2006 was renamed to carhs GmbH. He has authored numerous technical papers and has been granted German and international patents in the automotive safety field. |
Qingquan Huang Head of Highly Automated Driving TÜV SÜD Greater China VitaHuang Qingquan is currently the Head of Highly Automated Driving business line of TÜV SÜD Greater China Mobility Department, an automotive cybersecurity expert, and an ECE R155/R156/R157 Authorized signatory . He has many years of working experience in well-known domestic OEM, and has participated in intelligent connected vehicle product design and autonomous driving software development projects for many times. At present, he is responsible for Highly Automated Driving business line operation and expert team management at TÜV SÜD Greater China. At the same time, he has led the compliance access and business development work related to several OEMs and suppliers, including ECE R155/R156/R157, and has rich theoretical and practical experience in automated driving compliance. |

Jan Christer Neimöck Senior Manager SDV / ADAS&AD T-Systems International GmbH VitaHolds a degree in physics after studies in electrical engineering, computer science and physics at the University of Applied Sciences in Karlsruhe and the University of Cologne. After a scientific collaboration for PHD at the Institute for Extraterrestrial Geophysics of the University of Cologne he is with T-Systems in various management and leading positions in area of Automotive R&D and Innovation. Starting in optimizing processes in Systems Engineering and Embedded Systems for Automotive OEM and developing new business areas for testing of tolling onboard units he continuous in heading the department of technical simulation within T-Systems for several years. Thereafter he took over the position of a Senior Program Manager with profit loss responsibility for multi project management of connected car platform and ADAS for a premium vehicle manufacturer in the south of Germany. Since 2018 he is in his role as Senior Manager SDV / ADAS&AD responsible for offering and new business for Software Defined Vehicles and Automated Mobility. |
Udo Steininger Managing Director TESACO GmbH VitaUdo Steininger earned his diploma in Nuclear Physics in 1986 and began working in nuclear safety research with a nuclear power plant operator. Since 1991, he has been with TÜV SÜD, working in various fields including reactor safety supervision, railroad control and safety technology, and general road vehicle safety. In 2005, he shifted his focus to the safety of automated driving. In 2024, he co-founded TESACO GmbH, where he serves as Managing Director. TESACO's mission is to provide technical and regulatory support for the development and operation of vehicles and systems for connected cooperative automated mobility. |

Josh Wreford AV Elevate Product Manager rFpro VitaJosh has a BSc in Electronic Engineering and an MSc in Space Engineering from the University of Surrey. During his last year of studies Josh joined the universities Formula Student team and quickly developed interest in the automotive sector. This lead to a job working at McLaren automotive as a gearbox control engineer. Simulation became an integral part of his job as it allowed him to rapidly develop and test the control software in the most efficient way. Driven by his passion for simulation, he joined rFpro and is now the Product Manager for AV Elevate, a fully integrated simulation solution designed for ADAS and AV development. |
