King-Hay Yang
Young Scientist Award

At our 2016 Human Modeling Symposium - held in Heidelberg Germany - we presented the Young Scientist Award for the first time.

In 2024, the “Young Scientist Award” was renamed to the “King-Hay Yang Young Scientist Award” in memory of Prof. King-Hay Yang, who was a pioneer in the art of modeling and simulation of the human body in impact situations.

Prof. Yang was also an active contributor to carhs.training’s Human Modelling and Simulation in Automotive Engineering event since its inception in 2007.

The symposium’s scientific committee will select the best research work presented by a researcher under 30 years of age. The award will be presented at the end of the closing session.
