Deutsche Telekom jump-starts new Emergency Call in the CarDeutsche Telekom, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. and cetecom advanced are preparing the mobile network for the next generation of automatic emergency call systems in vehicles. Since April 2018, an eCall system has been mandatory for all new vehicle models. The automatic emergency call system prescribed by the European Union is now technically outdated. With the Next Generation Emergency Call (NG eCall), it is getting a future-proof update.

TNCAP Fourth Round ResultsIn order to provide consumer new car safety information, promote the upgrading of the vehicle industry, enhance the safety of domestic vehicles, and promote the Taiwan New Car Safety Assessment Program (TNCAP), the Ministry of Transportation officially announced the assessment results of the seventh and eighth ranked TNCAP models after completing the selection, purchase, testing, and assessment of the fourth batch of second models. NISSAN KICKS received a five-star assessment, and TOYOTA YARIS received a three-star assessment.
