WorldSID-50M Repeatability and Reproducibility of Qualification Tests published

In July 2022 NHTSA published a report summarizing the repetability and reproducibility evaluation of the Worldwide Harmonized Side Impact Dummy 50th percentile adult male dummy (WorldSID-50M) in qualification tests. After minor revisions to the WorldSID-50M's thorax NHTSA determined that an updated assessment of the WorldSID-50M's repetability and reproducibility in qualification tests was warranted.

MGA Research: Final Rule for FMVSS 210 Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages released

MGA's static team has worked with the FAD1 and FAD2 designs since their introduction in 2012. The current set was built by MGA's fabrication team in New York according to the drawings provided by the NHTSA at the time. Andreas Wingert honored with the European Commercial Vehicle Safety Award

Andreas Wingert has been awarded the European Commercial Vehicle Safety Award 2024. The prize was awarded for the 35th time jointly by the European Association for Accident Research and Analysis (EVU), the expert organization DEKRA and the German Road Safety Council (DVR). The official award ceremony took place during the EVU annual conference in Kufstein, Austria. The award winner is Head of Advanced Engineering at Japanese truck manufacturer Mitsubishi Fuso.
