Early Detection makes Batteries safer

Euro NCAP's Results highlight Safety as a Priority in new Car Design

article imageIn November 2024, three new cars went through Euro NCAP s rigorous testing: the sporty electric SUV Cupra Tavascan, the SUV MG HS and the MPV Ford Tourneo Courier. Road to Zero Coalition releases new Report on Safety Risks of oversized Passenger Vehicles

GM's Side Bicyclist Alert System helps keep Riders safe

Side Bicyclist Alert, as well as Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking, come standard on a variety of 2025 model year and newer GM vehicles, including the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox and Equinox EV, Blazer EV, Traverse, Tahoe, Suburban and Silverado EV.

DEKRA Cargo Bike Crash highlights the Advantages of flexible Poles

article imageTraffic light or light poles, traffic signs or bollards - they all often have an important function on roads and in their surrounding space. "At the same time, however, they can present obstacles that cause accidents or worsen the consequences of accidents", warns DEKRA accident researcher Markus Egelhaaf. For the DEKRA Road Safety Report 2024, "Traffic Environments for People", a cargo bike underwent two crash tests, one against a flexible post and the other against a rigid one. The effects could hardly have been more different.

Honda broadens Safety Efforts to achieve global Goal of zero Traffic Collision Fatalities

article imageHonda is building on its "Safety For Everyone" approach by expanding its focus beyond advanced safety and driver assistive technologies to include efforts to augment driver awareness, modify driver behavior and improve the traffic safety ecosystem by working with government, industry and community partners.
