ANCAP Top Safety Performers for 2024 unveiledA look back on the year that was has revealed the top overall safety performers for 2024 - the Toyota Camry, Mazda CX-80 and Zeekr X. Each of the top performers achieved five-star ANCAP safety ratings assessed against current 2023-2025 test and rating protocols, with the top three performers determined using an overall weighting calculation.

CDH AG uses new Dummy Model from ATD-MODELS for C-NCAP Virtual TestingC-NCAP introduced virtual testing on evaluate the influence of active vehicle safety on passive occupant protection. Corresponding test protocol published by CATARC specifies validation requirements on the THOR 50 % dummy model focusing on the braking phase of a frontal crash. In order to comply with the required dummy validation certification, ATD-MODELS GmbH developed a C-NCAP version of the ATD-TH50 FE-Model for use in C-NCAP VT.
